Tell us why you decided to start working in Real Estate? I started my journey in real estate in my late 20's. I had relocated from NYC to NC with my husband and children. I had never thought about owning a home because I didn't know anyone my age that did. However, after I started working in Raleigh, I learned that most of my colleagues that were in my age group owned a home. I thought, wow! If they could have a home, I could too. So I started researching how to own a home and went to a First time home buyers seminar at my church. From that night on, I put my plan in place and built and purchased my first home. I also had the opportunity to work for a Real Estate Attorney.
Then 13 years later, after building and purchasing my first home, I built and purchased my next home, I then decided to get my Real Estate license. I realized I really enjoyed the business of Real Estate and being a landlord.
What is your goal now, as a Realtor? My goal is to assist new and veteran home buyers in obtaining their new homes. This includes providing guidance, advice, and encouragement throughout the process. Sometimes, we may hit a hiccup but I try to assure my clients that we will get through it together. No home purchase is the same. Each experience can have its own set of issues whether it is new construction or a resale home however we will work through anything.
I assist current homeowners in selling their homes. This is not an easy process for most homeowners, because their home is very special to them. It is where they may have raised their children or is their very first home. It is a home with many wonderful memories. So departing with it is sometimes difficult. My goal is to help my Seller client understand that their home will make another family just as happy and to help them prepare the home for sale and for the new family.
It is wonderful "Helping People Win!" Whether selling their current home or buying their 4th home.
My primary areas of business are Wake, Durham, and Johnston Counties.
My expertise is in Residential Sales, Rentals, Purchases, First Time Home Buyers and Relocation
